Creating Haven
‘We decided to create a pocket wildflower meadow that would be punctuated by ridged and textured Nesting Pods, and functionality was a key aspect of our design process. Working with Wildflower Turf Ltd, we selected native British wildflowers that would attract bees, butterflies and other insects, and Eleanor and Russell made the pods with space for birds to nest or perch on and using locally sourced oak, which is long-lasting and will weather to a lovely silver-grey colour.Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
